Liz Lytton: I wish I could give 6 stars! I highly recommend Generation Jewelers, Danny and the entire team are incredible. If you’re on the fence about where to get your jewelry remade, do yourself a favor and check them out. I needed to have my engagement ring remade - it was too large and had a number of design and structural issues that made it really uncomfortable. We looked at a number of shops, but knew Danny was our guy once we met him. We signed off on the work same day, and picked up my completely remade ring less than 3 weeks later! Danny immediately understood what we wanted changed, talked us through design options, and addressed every issue perfectly when remaking the ring. The communication was straightforward and he kept us updated on progress. We even got to see the design mock up of the ring before they got started, which was something we hadn’t seen anywhere else (just another reason they’re the best). He created a more elegant and structurally sound ring that was significantly more comfortable. I couldn’t be happier with the work he did, and the service we got from every person we met at the store. Thank you again Danny! We’ll be back for wedding bands soon!

We got 6 gold bangles set last year in their store and Kalpana helped very well. She showed all collection patiently during our shopping experience. So again we asked her as our shopping rep this year too and we had very pleasant time. We got gem stone necklace, gem stone bangles, gem stone earrings, gold hoops, gold daily wear jhumka and gold party wear jhumka. Designs are super awesome.

After hours of research online and calling jewelers (I didnt want the center stone to be a diamond, and apparently thats harder to cater to), I found Brett. Not only does he work in precious stones and metals, he also works very heavily with semiprecious stones. He called me when stones were in for me to look through and see what I liked. He was insanely customer-oriented despite the lower price tag of the purchase. I love the work he did and I absolutely ADORE my ring. We are having him do my wedding band to match, and we have trusted him (without fail) to fix heirloom jewelry. Thank you for taking the time to walk us through such an important and meaningful purchase. Thank you for making all of your customers feel welcomed regardless of what theyre buying. In this day and age, that kind of customer service is rare. I truly thank you for working with us and our budget! We will definitely keep coming back, and I highly recommend such a lovely small business.

Necia Jackson-Guidry: I’ve waited 5 days to decide to write this review. Over the last couple of weeks I’ve taken in about 10 pieces of jewelry to be repaired, restrung, resized, cleaned, etc. Two sets of pearls restrung, multiple rings resized or repaired, earrings repaired, tightening of prongs, cleaning, etc. resulting in about $1200 in costs. I also took several pieces of gold jewelry to be sorted by karat and examined to be sold. When I got the offer for the gold it seemed like it could be a very low offer so I had my son pick up the pieces and bring them home. I still had 2 rings to pick up from that point and when I nice MAN called and said they were ready I went to pick them up. I was greeted warmly by Irena (one of the nicest people you will ever meet). Roluca Cohen (the mgr. who had helped me with all of it originally and who gave me the gold offer) was there helping another customer. As Irena was checking me out, my balance was $100, Roluca pipes up, in the middle of helping her customer, and says, “she has a balance!” Irena looked at her a little shocked and back at me. She seemed embarrassed by what Roluca said. She said, “we have it handled, she is paying/or she has paid” I just held up my hands in a shrug. I guess Roluca saw this because she said, “I had it up on my screen because I’m the one that called her to tell her they were ready”. She was not. There was some other reason she was being a jerk and checking my business instead of handling her customer. As I said, a man called me to tell me the rings were ready. It was insulting. Did she think I was going to abscond with my rings without paying the $100 balance? It certainly sounded like she was concerned. I had planned to have all my other gold rings sold and the stones made into a specially designed ring but I will no longer do it there. I won’t patronize their store again. All these positive reviews about how nice “Bob” is with which to work? I never saw a Bob. Maybe he was a previous owner. I’m unsure. I don’t know what Roluca’s issue was but what started as a positive experience a couple of weeks ago ended so negative. As my family says, I’m too trusting in the sincerity of some people. This was probably one of those times. FYI: I got a much higher offer for the gold elsewhere.
