Shara Rogers: Tired of the rude attitudes that the ladies in this office have. Was literally told today that they dont care and they acted like they dont want to hear anything you have to say! Theres no need to be so rude so early in the morning. They acted like I had to either come in to their office to sign something to reinstate my policy because it lapsed by a few days because I had to wait for my payday or call and talk to Progressive at their main number...which I had already tried but due to the Hurricane Helene they were having high call volume. I tried explaining to this local agent that I work overnight and sleep days and needed to make my payment and she literally said that wasnt her problem & she didnt care. This agency does not care if youre a shift worker. Oh they can take your money but want to treat you like crap! Im going to switch agents or companies to someone not so attitudish!! Maybe some other company will appreciate my money!
Mark Spurgeon Insurance Agency, Inc. - Texas City
TejasBill 1: Mark and Cheryl helped me renew my policies, and consolidate them with an umbrella policy, that helps cover everything I need. Thank you so much, Mark & Cheryl!

MOTORRAD GUY: Very friendly and professional, however beware. I must let everyone know that Famers insurance here in Texas City is not the answer if you are looking for a different insurance company due to increased rates. We had two claims on our Progressive policy and were facing an increase due to that fact. One claim involved my wife being rear-ended by an uninsured motorist, the other involved me hitting a nearly invisible and unavoidable object in the middle of an interstate in TN. These incidents were brought up by me while signing up, and they quoted us for $278 per month for a new full coverage policy for our two vehicles. We signed documents for a one year policy term. We got all the paperwork a few weeks later confirming our policy agreement. We paid the $278 on our first regular payment date (auto draft). The next month I get an alert from TrueBill saying that there was an increase in the amount charged for Farmers insurance. They are now charging me $414 per month for the remainder of our one year term. They say it was due to an oversite on the underwriting departments part. If I would have been told the truth on what it was really going to cost me I would have stayed with Progressive, to at least have a future chance at loyalty rewards. I honestly feel like this was a ploy to get me switched and signed up at an attractive rate, and then just charge what they knew was going to be charged anyway. The difference between $440 that Progressive was going to charge me, and $414 per month was not worth switching from an insurance company that I was with for years, and I am sure they knew this. They did not even offer to try and fight the underwriters to ad least negotiate a compromise.
Insurance Plus Agencies, LLC - Progressive Local Agent - Dickinson
Glen Classen: Fantastic job and very fair price! Totally satisfied with agent’s service
Mary Lou Church - State Farm Insurance Agent - Texas City
C H: Had them since I was 16, but for the past few years its been more and more difficult to even get ahold of anyone in the office and everything just takes forever to get done. As Im typing this, Im sitting on waiting for a policy change I was told would take two days.....its been a week plus with no communication. The folks there are very nice, but unfortunately its just a bit too inconsistent and not meeting my needs as a policy holder, so Im switching agents.
