1 /5 Michael Gilliland: Extremely poor financial planning and investment advice. Michael Clark made more in the purchase of a REIT for my account than I have in over 5 years in the REIT. I transferred to a new financial advisor over two years ago and still have been unable to transfer over $200,000 to my new account. His performance in returns on other products was equally poor. Further investigation revealed other complaints filed by other clients. I have begun the process of filing complaints with the SEC and FINRA. Between the $250K initial investment, his fees to get me into the REIT that has no defined lifespan and my losses by not being able to invest this amount in the bull market of the last two years, Michael Clark has likely cost me close to $400,000. The REIT might as well have been a total scam and my money flushed down a toilet. Clearly Clark has not fulfilled his fiduciary responsibility in handling my account.
