5 /5 FitQuest70: Anytime Fitness, Sulphur Springs, TX - 4.5/5 Stars On my FitQuest70 journey from Sacramento to Texas, gym #57 in Sulphur Springs, Texas, stands out as a vibrant, bustling Anytime Fitness location that blends big-box energy with the boutique charm of the brand’s signature purple vibe. This is hands-down the largest and most visited gym on my journey so far, with at least 50 people present throughout my workout. Yet, despite the crowd, it never felt overwhelming, thanks to the sheer volume of equipment—more than enough to accommodate everyone. The gym’s layout is expansive, almost maze-like (I got lost heading to the restroom!), and it rivals claims from my previous stop, where the manager boasted having the largest gym in Texas. This location is a serious contender. The equipment appears brand-new, well-maintained, and plentiful, catering to the gym’s evident popularity in this community. I worked out on a treadmill facing large bay windows, which I loved for the natural light. The windows are mirrored from the outside, offering sun protection and privacy, though I wondered if they’re see-through at night—it might feel like exercising in a department store display! The atmosphere is lively and welcoming, and it’s clear why this gym is a local favorite. However, a few minor quirks kept it from a perfect 5-star rating. First, the restroom setup deviates from the standard Anytime Fitness hallmark. The shower room, labeled as a “changing room,” lacks a toilet, which is housed in a separate room. This isn’t a dealbreaker, but it’s worth noting for planning. Additionally, the shower itself, while equipped with a nice working fan, had a strong water flow that created a messy puddle on the floor, which was tricky to clean up. The sink in the restroom also drained slowly, adding a small inconvenience. Lastly, the shower room lacked hooks for hanging clothes or towels, a minor oversight. These are small nitpicks in an otherwise stellar experience. The abundance of top-notch equipment, the energetic yet charming vibe, and the gym’s ability to handle a large crowd make it a standout. The paper towels in the restroom were a nice touch, and the community clearly loves this place for a reason. For anyone in Sulphur Springs, this Anytime Fitness is a fantastic choice—just come prepared for a bustling environment and a slightly quirky restroom setup.

5 /5 Rascal Man: Im really enjoying my workouts at this facility. Mike, the owner introduced himself during one of my workouts, which I greatly appreciated. He asked what my experience was at the gym and I told him I love the facility, as well as noticing the kindness and consideration of the members toward one another. I have visited at least a dozen other ATFs in other states across the country and this is not always the norm. The facility is also much larger and better equipped than the average, which really helps on crowded workout Mondays. Keep up the good work, Mike and thanks for having me as a member!
