1 /5 Brandy Mazzeo: This company is a joke and they are just screwing people over big time. My ex-husband and I purchased a car in 2011 Chevy Cruz $20,500.00. In 2016 my ex traded it in as the car only had 5/6 more payments for car to be paid off. Now during our divorce the Judge awarded us cars by who was buyer on loans. He got Chevy Cruz, and his Dodge truck, I got my Kia Soul and Chrysler 300. Only the Chevy Cruz was financed through GMC back in 2011 for 60 months payoff Aug. 2016(per paperwork), Now we divorced 03/2016, so that car belongs to him per judgement of Divorce decree. Now why in the hell is this company going to pop up on December 31, 2022 filing a lien write off for the year 2021. Didn’t even know shit about it only found out in 2023 when my refund never got deposited into my account so after waiting for about 90 days I decided to see what was going on with my refund and that’s when I was told it was applied to a balance owed in 2021 for a financial write off. I was like what how when I have a 0.00 owed 2020,2021,2022,2023 and IRS couldn’t even give me information besides a P.O. Box ADDRESS AND BUSINESS NAME that filed write off $12,469. With my social and name. Funny thing is they did the exact same thing to my ex husband and same amount.. So how they reporting $12,469+$12,469=$24,938.00 write off!! When the original price of the car was 20,500.00 and purchased in 2011!!! Doesn’t even show on my credit after 2016!!! IRS is no help and when I called Americredit they can’t find anything with my name, social, or my ex husbands!!! What’s really going on here 2011 July purchase date trade in January 2016.. 11 years from purchase date they file some crazy write off.. and charge myself and they charge my ex husband separately. One loan one car so how do you charge 2 people who file separately the same amount and write-off!!! Crooks!!!
