I have curly hair and am always wary about getting a new stylist, but she really understands curly hair and did a great job. Almost everyone I interacted with that day complimented my hair! The price was also extremely reasonable especially in comparison to Austin prices!

Theresa Peery Such a great place. I saw Megan and had a two color full foil. She did such a great job! She was fun to chat with and had me cracking up. The building is a beautiful old craftsman style house that has been convertered, very thoughtfully, into a really inviting, peaceful, and charming in the best ways salon and spa. I would highly recommend them. My only small complaint/critique is that they need a much more visible sign. The salon is set back off of the road and the front and near the driveway have some bushes that partially obscure the small and hard to see/read from the road. I passed it and had to turn around and drive really slowly to find it on my second pass. So when going there it is on the North side of the road. (The highway runs east and west) and has a small maroon sign. Hope you enjoy it as much as I did.

jpv1995 Friendly staff. Hair clippers they use could use those little vacuums attachment to keep hair from coming down customers face. I had hair in my lower back and mouth after I left. Update: Doris was able to fix my haircut after getting one from Sports Clip in Plfurgerville.

2Live Simple I recently took my son to Anointed Hands Barbershop, and Joe Ramirez did an amazing job. My son absolutely loved his haircut! Joe really listened to what we were looking for and went above and beyond to make it perfect. He was patient, detail-oriented, and made sure we were completely happy before we left. While we were there, my husband also decided to get his haircut, and he couldn’t stop talking about how great the customer service was. Joe made him feel comfortable, and his professionalism stood out. From start to finish, everything was done with such precision and care. Joe is not only talented but also very friendly and welcoming. You can tell that he takes pride in his work and values his clients. We’re definitely coming back and would highly recommend Joe Ramirez at Anointed Hands to anyone looking for an exceptional barber!

Linda Bingley It was my first time being serviced here and the atmosphere was great, I was greeted when I walked in the door. Brittney did my hair and she gave me exactly what I asked for. The service, the privacy, the professionalism and so much more was Awesome. I will definitely come back for continued hair care. I believe in giving people their props, the owner and the other stylist was also kind and professional. I was referred here and glad I was great work Anointed Hands!!

Erin Alexandra Had a great experience with Noel! They did a great job and gave me exactly what i wanted. It’s always nice to have a stylist who ‘gets’ curly hair. Best of all my haircut was only $18 since they offer a teacher discount! I will definitely be returning to this Great Clips location!

David Upton This place is the worst ever. They close up when they want not adhering to their posted times of business. Closing their doors an hour before their posted time of closing, turning away several customers. Must be nice, a business that can afford to turn away so many customers. The manager was very rude when I mentioned how they were closing up earlier than their sign says. Their reason for closing was that they had covid. I am sure glad I did not step inside or touch their door, with the manager saying they had covid. This place should be boarded up and quarantined to stop their spreading covid.

Justin Moore Put my name on the list they said 50 min. I said I’ll be right out front in my truck that was 3:30pm. 530 comes out last hair cut walks out I walk in they say sorry we are closed. I waited almost 2 hours. Sign says they close at 6pm on Sundays. Total B.S. and the grumpy old lady was rude. So pissed!!! Wasted 2 hours on my only day off. They told me they would come let me know too.

Shane Blue Juan is absolutely the best barber that Ive ever been to. Juans barbering skills are unmatched, and his hand with a straight razor is expert. A true professional. Juan really caters to his clients with amazing service, and he goes above and beyond to deliver a wonderful experience. The Classic Cuts & Shave team are all very friendly and fun to be around. Its always a pleasure and a treat to go there. I recommend Juan and his team above any barber shop anywhere.

Alyssa Barron John is amazing! Took my 4 year old to cut his hair for the very first time & I didn’t know how to explain what I wanted but he understood and delivered! My son looks amazing! I definitely will be going back

Zachary Conway The is the best classic barbershop experience I’ve ever had. Juan does a great cut, is personable and professional, but what sets him apart is his attention to detail and the amazing beard trim and straight razor shave. He is meticulous around the ears and eyebrows (something I think is missing with most barbers these days). The straight razor shave looks incredible but with the warm towels and shaving cream is also relaxing and refreshing. Best barber I’ve ever been to.

Steven Schultz This is the second haircut Lindsey has given me and both of them have been perfect. Today, I let a person go in front of me so I could have her cut my hair. I greatly appreciate the time she takes to make sure her customers are happy. Supercuts has a great employee in Lindsey and I will continue to go there as long as she is cutting hair.

susan powell My stylist Roxanne was thorough and welcoming. My hair is thin and fine, so she cuts my hair dry so that it will continue to fall into its proper place, whether wet or dry. It is a pleasure to have this lovely person as my stylist, and I can depend on her to do a great job every time i come.

Ashley Garrison We had a 1 pm check in and the stylist Deonna we were assigned to never waited on us. We sat for an additional 15 minutes while she walked in and out of the back rooms. Roxanna was very helpful and sat him right away once she realized he had not been seen.

Victoria Meaker First time taking my son and my husband. Haircuts werent bad at all. But for almost 100$ I was expecting way more. I understand my toddlers hair not being perfect because he didnt stay still. But I wasnt happy with my husbands either. Again, definitely not bad haircuts...But for almost 100$ after tip. Weve gotten better haircuts at great clips for half the price.

Sarah Escobar Where do I even begin!? I had literally just got my hair colored (pic on left) at a salon and walked out so disappointed! I was then referred to His and Hers Barbershop Salon and had a consultation with Tiffany and Izzy. We came up with a game plan to fix the disaster and instantly I felt relieved that I found colorist that were knowledgeable and experienced! I went in for my color correction today with Izzy and I’m so in love with how my hair turned out! She did an AMAZING job and brought my hair back to life! Izzy was super friendly, attentive, and is extremely talented. Let’s just say they gained 2 loyal clients because the barbers there were awesome and my fiancé will be making his appointment soon! What a Fantastic salon/shop for men and women! Highly recommend! Thank you, Izzy!

Michelle Smith I recently called Mel with Call for Beauty to have my hair and makeup done for my 30yr anniversary and vow renewal. Mel was so wonderful and my hair and makeup was way beyond what I could have dreamed of. My appointment was set around noon. The vow renewal was at 6pm. My make up held up all afternoon and well into the night. My hair never fell and my curls stayed in my hair, which is a hard thing to do. Mel made magic happen for my special day and I highly recommend her for any special event anyone may have. I will be using her again.

amberley palmer Had my first facial today with Mel. She is very knowledgeable about your skin and makes recommendations based on what areas you would like to see results in. I have sensitive skin and did not have any sensitivity issues. Found it to be a good stress release.

Cherie Wood Worst haircut and hair coloring in my 63 years. My natural color is light brown, not black. The cut and blow dry was horrible. I couldnt believe she was going to let me walk out like that. I immediately went home and washed and dried my hair to an appropriate style. Maybe I caught her on a bad day, she did say she was up doing laundry all hours of the night. No, I would not recommend this place to anyone. REFUND MY MONEY - - - THAT WOULD MAKE ME FEEL BETTER ABOUT MYSELF, AND DONT BE DOING LAUNDRY THROUGH THE WEE HOURS OF THE MORNING.

Chantal-Marie Grinstead I’ve received countless facials and waxing from Rose and my skin has seen so much improvement since! Rose is knowledgeable and skilled at what she does and after chatting with her for a single 30/60 minute appointment, you’ll leave wishing she was your best friend— guarantee it. A side note: I’ve tried two skincare brands that Rose carries (Hale & Hush and Skinscript) and they’re both amazing and I am OBSESSED. She also carries amazing candles, jewelry, and even cute socks! Also, I used Alan the last hair service I had (cut, color, style) and got *so* many compliments! I’ll attach a photo of my skin with minimal makeup and one of my hair right after my service with Alan (though the lighting on that one doesn’t do the color justice) ☺️ Salon Arcanum is a clean, professional, and well-priced beauty service salon. As a plus, the aesthetic here is freaking CUTE. Schedule your next service here and you won’t be disappointed!

Luisa Garcia Got my hair done on Friday and when I say that was the best cut and color I’ve ever had I am not exaggerating. Chris was so friendly, made me feel welcome and made sure I knew exactly what he was doing. He took me through every step and made sure I was comfortable during the process. If you’re looking for someone who does great work and is super easy to talk to, Chris is the person to go to! Like I said in the beginning, best cut and color I’ve gotten, left me feeling beautiful and with a big a smile because of his amazing service!

Carlyle Scott Welcomed addition to Bastrop! Lumiere House is lovely and loved sitting with Chris. He was friendly and personable and gave me a great (much needed!) cut. This is worth the drive if you’re coming from Austin. Looking forward to next time.

Zach Batteer I had a great experience at Lumiere. First off, the space is beautifully designed and very clean. It has tons of thoughtful touches that are unique to it. Chris did a fantastic job with my haircut, and I 100% would recommend using him. He was super attentive to detail and left no stone unturned. I will definitely be going back!
