Leslee Ramsey Latish is a loving, talented hair stylist who is more than a hairdresser. My Mom who has struggled with severe health issues and a disability had struggled to do her hair or let anyone help her for awhile. When we arrived to Latish’s peaceful and beautiful salon, she was so kind, non-judgmental and just jumped in to help shampoo, comb, cut tangles out, and give my Mom a beautiful look for a lady her age. She blessed my Mom so much and Latish has a beautiful heart and such a kind spirit. She’s a blessing and so is her salon.

Mecaila burnett This lady is the heavenly truth the day I went in it was my first time at a real hair salon and I was afraid to ask for what I truly wanted because of my past experiences but she listened to me and was able to achieve what I asked for and it was above what I could imagine because I didn’t think it could be done the name is right truly a miracle I’m loving my new color and look and thanks for the education on how to take care of my hair I will be returning she is my new beautician. I got a hair color with a silk press.

Rosa M This was our first visit to see Latish for my toddler’s first haircut. She is three years old and has long wavy/curly hair. It was important for us to prioritize a great haircut versus a fun toddler experience. We could not be happier we trusted Latish. She was kind, thoughtful, and very attentive with my girl. Latish had a toddler setup with booster chair and all. She consulted with me to make sure I was comfortable with the length and was great with engaging with my toddler (she is a mom herself). Latish even blew my girl’s hair straight and added a princess style curl since it’s almost her birthday. We got lucky with Valentine’s Day to get a balloon and lollipop as well. Needless to say, mom, dad, and toddler were beyond happy. We will be back and I highly recommend Latish!

Talyn Provo I have been going to Sam for my hair for 10+ years now! She is the BEST of the best when it comes to BLONDE hair! She is extremely affordable and she always does an incredible job on my cut and color. I have recommended her to so many people I know because she is THAT GOOD! Barbara Snowden I have been going to Gina Wilson for over 7 years. I have very difficult hair to color and to style. I can not say enough regarding Gina and the amazing results I receive at each appointment. Beyond being a terrific stylist, she is always on time, has one of the most fantastic attitudes of anyone I have ever met. She is professional, and goes above and beyond for her clients. She works extremely hard to meet the needs of her clients, and truly cares about her clients being satisfied. Even though I have been a longtime customer, she stills makes sure that I am 100% satisfied each visit. The quality of her work is exceptional, and Gina makes it a point to go to continued trainings to be up to date with the latest styles and products. If you want the best, you will find it with Gina!!!

Karyn Van Leeuwen Gina Wilson has been doing my hair for 6 years now, since I moved from Canada. As a former hairstylist myself, I am a very picky client. Gina consistently meets all of my needs, leaving my hair in amazing condition, with the most beautiful precision cuts, colors, and highlights. She is always on time, never cancels my appointments or asks me to move them. She uses top of the line products, and treats each and every client with the utmost respect, listening to their requests and giving them what they need. She does my whole family’s hair, and is beyond wonderful with my twin toddlers and my teenager, who is also very picky! She does all of this, with a positive attitude and a huge smile on her face! Gina is wonderful, as a stylist, and as a person. I will never see anyone else!

Ryan Calococci We brought our 2.5 year old here for the first time and it was amazing. The hair stylist was so incredibly sweet and engaging with our son. Not only was his hair cut perfect but it was also amazingly fast. Our son left saying he wanted to go back to see her next time. Weve been to other boutique hair salons for kids which were good but First Clips is on another level.

Landrum First Clips! The good: The lady who cut my hair, who is also the proprietor I believe, does a great job and is actually quite fast. She massages my scalp and finishes with a hot towel. She is very funny as well. I believe she is Korean and has beautiful manners. The prices are reasonable as well. The bad: Nothing bad to report. First Clips is not pretending to be some high-end salon but her service is excellent. I will recommend First Clips to anyone and I will be back.

Karen Smith I brought my granddaughter who is 11 in for a haircut. Her hair was down to her waist. Glitter was so good with her knowing it would be a big change. She checked with my granddaughter before she cut anything making sure she was okay with the length. Very friendly personality and Glitter is great at her job. I give 5+ stars.

Devon Scoggins I had a frustrating experience with this business. I was unexpectedly charged for services I didn’t authorize, and when I tried to address it, I felt unfairly threatened with legal action. My belongings were also withheld, and I had to consider taking further steps to retrieve them. The empty spaces in the building may indicate challenges in management. If you choose to visit, I’d recommend caution and keeping a clear record of transactions and agreements.

Puki (Puki) First person I truly can trust with my hair. I’ve been to many barbers and hair dressers and I always left unsatisfied, it has been hard to trust someone to be able to cut my hair in way that I like and that works for my curly hair. But after my brother recommended meNicole (he is super picky with his hair) I had a good feeling. And went to get my hair cut by her, and now I’ve been going to get my hair cut by Nicole ever since and I’ve never been disappointed.

Bev Foley I have always had baby-fine hair. It’s also super straight so it looked great in the 70’s. It’s not been great since then. Ha ha. I’ve struggled for years to find someone who can give me a cut that is stylish and suitable for my narrow face. Nicole is this person. My hair now looks cute and with the layers she adds, it also is a little fluffy. She has been cutting my hair for a year and I will follow her if she ever moves. She’s also a very sweet lady!

B NJ Facials were great, soft skin afterwards! Make sure to not get any products in your eyes while massaging them into face! Also you cannot tap to pay for things under 100$! Got a 65$ facial went to pay and was told I could not tap to pay unless it was over 100!

Anoo K Love love love this Salon. Shraddha is sooo knowledgeable and she can study your skin and recommend the best treatment or facials you need. All the services at the Salon are spectacular. Definitely try it.

Nadine Melendrez Veena is the best at giving you the lashes you want and knows what will look on your eyes! I also get eyebrows threaded by Veena and others when Veena isn’t available and the are always grea!

Lisa Winter Look no further for fantastic lashes! Highly recommend Veena. She is meticulous and will work with you to get your lashes absolutely perfect (& your lashes will have staying power). Veena is also just a lovely person, I always enjoy my time with her. If I could give her 6 stars, I would.

Antonia Gallegos This salon is beautiful and has a great atmosphere! I came here because my stylist of over 15 years moved to this salon and of course I followed her. Shelby Black is an EXPERT in the art of hair. Everything she does has such a natural and beautiful look to it. She listens to what her clients want and delivers beyond expectations. She has never been overpriced, although she absolutely could be given her expertise. I have even been able to switch some of my friends over to her and they wont go back to their former stylists. Shelby is the best and Uptown Salon is a great location. Highly recommend!

Mila Greenhalgh I went in for a haircut with Jess. It was wonderful! She was so friendly and did and incredible job on my hair. After going over a year without going to the salon because of the pandemic, I was very happy to see this salon taking proper measures to ensure we all stayed safe. Love Uptown salon!

Lisette Trujillo Kleo has been my hairdresser for the last few months and she does an amazing job each and every time! I have dark thick hair naturally so going light blonde is a process. I’m happy I went with Uptown Salon, they listen to you and make sure to put your hair health before anything else. I always come leaving with a smile. Can’t wait till my next appointment!

Kris Griffith Karen is an amazing colorist and stylist and makes my hair look fabulous! I trust this woman explicitly with my hair and receive rave reviews after my appointments with her. Karen takes pride in her craft, including the organic products she uses. I am so thankful my friend introduced me to Karen! If you are in need of an excellent, professional, kind person to make your hair look fantastic...then look no further!

Carla Fantoni Karen is great! My hair is not easy but Karen makes it look great every time. She listens to what we want and delivers with excellence. Not to mention that she is super nice, fun and accommodating. I’m always in a hurry and always have something going on. Not only is she flexible and accommodating with my changes in schedule but she makes it work in the time I have. I super recommend!

Sarah Lowe Karen does such a wonderful job with my hair! I have thick, hard-to-manage hair w/ a stubborn wave, and have been going to her for several years for cuts and straightening treatments. I get lots of compliments from friends & family about how my hair looks. Karen’s a perfectionist and takes her craft super seriously, but is also an incredibly delightful person and a pleasure to interact with. I always look forward to my appointments with Karen!

BSG Drove there for my appointment and waited a while. My stylist was not at the salon. Another stylist gave me my stylist’s number and asked me to call her who then told me that there was some scheduling issue and she was not available that day. This could have been communicated hours, if not days, before. I chose not to reschedule for another day when offered.

Abby B Dakota is amazing! Shes always so much fun to be around and she does a great job. Ive been to her for everything from vibrant colors that include 2 stages of lightening, and haircuts to blowout styling for big events. I cant imagine trusting my hair to anyone else.

Laura Jimenez I absolutely love coming to Dakota for my hair cuts/colors. She’s always up for whatever my ideas are, and is also great at offering suggestions if I’m unsure of what I want. I was so scared to bleach my hair for vivid color because I thought I’d lose my curl pattern, but my hair still feels so healthy and my curl pattern is in tact. She always takes extra time after drying/styling to make sure everything looks perfect and make any adjustments.

Chelsea Palacios Dakota is truly amazing. From color to cut I always leave feeling super happy with the final look. Today, she did my daughters long pixie and she couldnt be happier!

Helena Lynch Boone Attempting to post this again because it was taken down. People need to know the truth about this salon, and how can they if he takes down every negative review he gets? If I could give this negative stars, I would. My mother was treated absolutely atrociously at this hair salon. She arrived back home with a completely crooked haircut. One side of her hair was shorter than the other. When my mother asked him to fix it, he told her she was being difficult and that it was not crooked, then proceeded to kick her out of the salon. How dare you? Luckily, she didn’t pay for her haircut. How could I, a 24 year old woman with no hair experience, see that her hair is completely crooked, but a man who is supposed to be trained in this ability can’t??? Ramon, you are a fraud. You do not know how to cut hair, and I can guarantee that none of our family or friends will ever be going to your salon.

Victoria Schwertner Ramon is awesome! He is so knowledgeable about styling, but more importantly how to care for your hair long term. I learned more about caring for my hair and hair health in one haircut than I have learned at any previous hair appointments combined. He was fast, efficient, and the cost of the service was an incredible value. No need to find a high end salon in the city.

Sarah Howell Y’all, this is the place! Cassandra has created an amazing environment with incredibly kind and professional women! Kelsey is my brow girl (wax and tint) and her attention to detail is second to none. She is thorough, attentive, and amazing. My brows have never been better! Lexi does the best manicures (and I can’t wait til I can visit her again consistently!)

Rachel Hilton Love this place! I wouldn’t go anywhere else to get my brows done! Cassandra is amazing and now Kelsey does my brows and she is just as incredible! Kelsey is very meticulous and always makes sure she’s up to date on my skincare regimen so that she can use the appropriate wax. Also, the plants inside the salon are beautiful- my plant goals! I bought a propagated plant from Cassandra about a year ago and it is thriving!

Misty Gordon I first came to Cassandra to get my brows waxed and tinted. I love the time she spends mapping out your brows and asking questions about them before she gets started making sure were on the same page! Shes helped me play around with different shades to find a natural look for me and we also tried henna! Im always been happy with the end results! I have also seen Chelsea and Kelsey who are also equally as great! Everyones attention to detail is amazing and I cant wait to go back once I get back into tinting my brows! Cassandra has an awesome team!
